Copyright and Licensing Policy

Indian Journal of Learning and Teaching (IJLT) is a scholarly journal focused on education, learning, teaching, pedagogy, teacher education, educational technology, curriculum, assessment and related interdisciplinary research.

Copyright and licensing are separate matters. Authors retain copyright in their scholarly work unless a separate written agreement states otherwise. By publishing with IJLT, authors grant the journal the rights necessary to publish, distribute, preserve and identify the Version of Record.

Unless a different licence is explicitly stated for a particular item, published journal articles are intended to be distributed under Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0). This licence permits reuse, distribution, adaptation and reproduction provided appropriate attribution is given and licence terms are followed.

The copyright notice and licence notice should appear in the article PDF and on the article webpage. Authors are responsible for obtaining permission for third-party copyrighted material that is not covered by an applicable exception or open licence.
