Indian Journal of Learning and Teaching (IJLT) is a scholarly journal focused on education, learning, teaching, pedagogy, teacher education, educational technology, curriculum, assessment and related interdisciplinary research.
Submissions must represent original scholarly work and must appropriately acknowledge ideas, words, data, images and materials derived from other sources. Plagiarism includes unattributed copying, close paraphrase presented as original writing, inappropriate reuse of published material and other forms of misrepresentation.
Similarity-detection software may assist editorial screening, but a similarity percentage alone does not determine misconduct. Editors consider the location, nature and context of matched material. Legitimate quotations, references, methods language and unavoidable technical phrases may produce matches without constituting plagiarism.
Serious concerns may result in rejection, request for explanation, correction, retraction or referral to an appropriate institution, depending on the stage and evidence.
