Dr. Akhilesh Kumar

Dr. Akhilesh Kumar is an Associate Professor of Education and Director of the Centre for Distance and Online Education at Tezpur University, Assam. He holds a Ph.D. in Education, is UGC-NET qualified in Education, and has qualifications in Special Education, Mathematics, Distance Education, and Guidance and Counselling. His academic career reflects sustained engagement with teaching, research, educational technology, inclusive education, special education, and open and distance learning. He has published research articles in Scopus/WoS and UGC-CARE-listed journals, contributed chapters and self-learning materials, authored and edited academic books, and developed multimedia-based educational lectures for institutions such as NIOS and open universities.
