Complaints and Appeals Policy

Indian Journal of Learning and Teaching (IJLT) is a scholarly journal focused on education, learning, teaching, pedagogy, teacher education, educational technology, curriculum, assessment and related interdisciplinary research.

Authors, reviewers and readers may raise a complaint about editorial procedure, communication, ethics, published content or another journal process. Complaints should identify the relevant manuscript or article and explain the concern with supporting information.

An appeal against an editorial decision should focus on a material error in the review or decision process rather than disagreement alone. Appeals are considered by an editor who can review the relevant record and, where appropriate, seek independent advice.

The journal aims to handle concerns respectfully, without retaliation, and to keep a record of substantive complaints and their resolution.
